Bonner Durchmusterung (BD) |
A star catalogue (literally the "Bonn Survey"), prepared by F. W. A. Argelander (1799-1875) at the Bonn Observatory between 1852 and 1868, and extended by E. Schönfeld (1828-91) in 1886. The initial catalogue contained the positions and magnitudes of 324,198 stars down to magnitude 9.5 between the north celestial pole and declination -2°. Schönfeld extended the coverage to declination -22° and added a further 133,659 stars. See also: Córdoba Durchmusterung. |
